The Metaplan Approach

Our processes leading to shared understanding run quickly and effectively

We use the Metaplan method in our moderations:

• Our discourses reach their goals in the allotted time thanks to the dramaturgies we plan beforehand.
• Everyone has a chance to speak; there are no long speeches thanks to the visualized discussion on the moderation boards.
• We visualize sequences of arguments and connections between them simultaneously to the discussion. In this way, the discussion does not go around in circles. A relation is established between each new argument and the ideas previously brought up in the discussion.
• Doubt and resistance to new ideas are brought forward and discussed, which leads to critical evaluation and acceptance.
